FACILITIES

 

The Department of pediatrics and Neonatology has ultramodern facilities .  Department has general ward, private rooms, neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric intensive care unit for the care of little ones.

All deliveries in the hospital are conducted in supervision of pediatrician. Both labor room and OT has neonatal resuscitation area, equipped with central oxygen, radiant warmer, suction machine, and resuscitation instruments.

 

Our neonatal intensive care Unit (NICU) has  servo controlled radiant warmer to keep the delicate babies warm. Each bed has  central oxygen point. We have neonatal CPAP machine and neonatal ventilator to help babies with breathing difficulties. NICU also has dual surface LED phototherapy machine for the treatment of jaundice in newborns. NICU is also equipped with syringe pumps, infusion pumps, multipara monitors, pediatric suction machines etc.

 

we do all critical care procedure like intubation, central line placements, PICC line insertion, umbical catheterization, chest tube insertion, peritoneal dialysis, lumber puncture, bone marrow aspiration, exchange transfusion, arterial catheterization. etc.

 We treat all type of neonatal diseases including birth asphyxia, RDS, sepsis, neonatal jaundice, meningitis etc

 

Pediatric intensive care unit  is a tertiary care center for the care of critically ill childrens. Unit is equipped with ultramodern facilities like ventilators, ABG machine, multipara monitors, infusion pumps,  suction machines etc. we handle all critically ill patients like meningitis, encephalitis, status epilepticus, septic shock, heart failure,  respiratory failure, severe pneumonia, bronchiolitis, acute renal failure, severe asthma etc.
